Hondo Industrial Air and Rail Park

Strategically located on the Hondo Municipal Airport
Our Airpark offers more than 1400 acres of commercial/industrial properties strategically located in South Texas, just 30 miles west of San Antonio. Directly accessible by rail, air, and highway, this emerging development represents a truly unique blend of transportation modes combined with a great location providing ample room for growth.

The diagram below shows the virtually unlimited possible land uses on the Hondo Municipal Airport. Area 1 has direct rail access serviced by the Union Pacific Railroad and the Burlington Northern/Santa Fe Railroad. Additionally, the rail spur/switch is currently operated by the Hondo Railroad, a locally owned short line railroad dedicated to railcar switching and the trans-loading of materials and products.
Planned growth
The entire airpark is served by City of Hondo utilities, including electric, water and waste water. Natural gas is readily available from Center Point Energy. The City of Hondo offers a great place to live with a growing housing market, low property tax rates, great schools, and a progressive city government. A good work force is readily available in the Hondo area.
