Building Services provides operations and maintenance of all City owned buildings to ensure a safe working environment. This department develops specifications needed for repair and maintenance and minor renovations of City owned/operated buildings, provides preventative maintenance for City owned/operated buildings and responds to calls on a 24-hr. basis to service the air conditioning/heating, plumbing, lighting, and electrical systems. The Building Services Department currently is responsible for maintaining the City Swimming Pool, Athletic Fields, Post Office, City Hall, and other buildings throughout the City. One of the additional duties of Building Services includes the maintenance of the City Airport and the surrounding structures.
