Deposit for Popular Books:
Certain items that prove to be high-demand/high-usage and that
are prone to theft are housed separately from the regular
collection. Titles are shelved in a locked book case. These items
require a $5.00 (each item) refundable deposit. Popular books can be
loaned out for a total of three weeks. Once the item(s) are
returned, the $5.00 will be refunded. Regular fees apply.
Charges for Lost or Damaged Material:
If a patron loses a library item or damages an item so that
further circulation is impossible, the patron will be ch arged the
full replacement price of the item. This applies to books, audio
books, book & cassettes, DVD’s and videos.
There will be no charge for normal wear and tear or damage that
is caused by certain perils classified as “Acts of God.”
