The City of Hondo welcomes everyone that visits to enjoy the
beautiful landscaping along Hwy. 90 and take time to picnic at one
of our parks.
The Parks Maintenance Division under direction of the Public Works
Department operates and maintains 107 acres
of parkland at 12 city wide parks which are all equipped with picnic tables, BBQ pits, and playground
equipment. All the parks are maintained on a daily basis. Included
in the Parks Department are as follows:

Season
Hours of Operation:
Tuesday -Sunday 1pm - 7pm
The pool is in season from May - August. Admission is $2.00 per
person For party reservations, fees, and pool availability contact
the Recreation Center at 830-426-2475 or 830-741-2464. Pool is
available for reservations Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from
7pm -10pm or 7pm - 11pm.
